Valuation Manager/Director

 

A career with Oxford will provide you the opportunity to help our fast growing clients achieve greater success and the change to navigate challenges that will accelerate your growth.  As part of the team, you’ll research financial risks, provide forecast analysis, and develop financial models that assists our team in providing fair and accurate valuation advice and ultimately helps our clients enhance their value. We work across a range of valuation types including complex capital structures, OPM/Monte Carlo, derivative valuation, intangible assets, mark-to-market, capital raise, buy-sell/sell-side and company/asset spin-outs.

 

As a Valuation Manager/Director, you will work as a leader on our  team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from M&A through tax/regulatory needs. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 

  • Proactively  manage  a portfolio of clients,
  • Be involved in the financial management of clients
  • Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
  • Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
  • Assist in the management and delivering of large projects
  • Train, coach, and supervise staff

 

Background:

  • Min 5 years of valuation experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: ASA or CFA

 

Skills/Experience:

  • Thorough knowledge regarding the application of valuation methodology for business entities and intangible assets, including valuation discounts and premiums.
    Experience in a professional services firm, or corporate finance group performing valuation engagements. Strong aptitude for applying financial accounting, corporate finance, business analysis, and report writing to create and deliver valuation solutions to the client.
  • Should have a broad base of experience including ASC 805, IRC 409A, ASC 718 and ASC 820 and familiarty with both quantitative and qualitative valuation analyses.
  • Demonstrates thorough experience providing professional services in one or more of the following areas: business enterprise valuation, financial modeling, derivatives, intellectual property valuation, impairment testing, purchase price allocation, private equity valuation.

  • Preferred Qualifications (but not essential): ASA or CFA

  • Experience in a professional services firm, or corporate finance group performing valuation engagements. Strong aptitude for applying financial accounting, corporate finance, business analysis, and report writing to create and deliver valuation solutions to the client.
  • Should ideally have some breadth of valuation experience including ASC 805, IRC 409A, ASC 718 and ASC 820 and familiarty with both quantitative and qualitative valuation analyses. At a minimum, you should have experience with Option Pricing Model and some ASC 805 experience.
  • Demonstrates thorough experience in providing professional services in one or more of the following areas: business enterprise valuation, financial modeling, derivatives, intellectual property valuation, purchase price allocation, private equity valuation.
