VIRTUAL ASSISTANT (Sales & Operations support)

The role is a key part of our business. The Candidate will be coming in to replace an existing role in the company that was held for the past 3 years, in which an initial set of key processes and protocols were developed.  The Candidate will be liaising daily with the company President on sales and operations matters related to clients and service delivery, ensuring seamless and meticulous execution of sales processes

Key responsibilities include providing sales support with account contracts and client management; maintaining and updating sales CRM and providing operational support for service delivery

The candidate will be in contact with clients daily around sales, project delivery, and other matters. You have great client hands with exceptional written and oral communications skills. Keeping clients happy and informed, managing conflict and boundaries, and serving as a key liaison with the service delivery team and the company President are all key qualities for the role.

 

Job Qualifications

 

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Prior experience in sales support and/or client/account management required; you must be very comfortable in communicating with clients via email and on the phone on a daily basis
  • Self-motivated, task oriented with a getting things done attitude
  • Technologically versatile and independent with good internet research and computer skills; must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel – will be expected to learn and use additional software tools (e.g. Dropbox, Asana)
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to multitask
  • Able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Process oriented – adapt to existing processes and look for opportunities to make improvement
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to confidential matters

Chief of Staff & Product Lead (New York City)

Reporting to:  President

Oxford Valuation Partners Chief of Staff will execute on key strategic priorities identified by the President.  This person will have overarching corporate responsibilities for planning and administration in the company, overseeing the delivery aspect of the core business and evaluating & executing a new business opportunity in the software space.  The Chief of Staff will serve as the Product Lead during the launch of the first release of this new software product, which has been in R&D and beta phase for the past 18 months and is targeting Q1 2017 release.  In this role, s/he will be responsible for final feature design, overseeing final development of first release, building a go-to-market strategy, and customer engagement.

 

Responsibilities

  • First strategic project will be overseeing the strategic evaluation, development and launch of a new business opportunity in the software space, including:

o   Taking over management of beta release process and existing beta client relationships

o   Identifying product development priorities and final release product for market launch to paying clients

o   Overall project management and oversight of engineering staff and efforts

o   Defining the service model and recruiting and managing staff required for development and delivery of the    product’s service element.

o   Leading the development of a financial strategy including business model, pricing and profitability

o   Building go-to-market plan to include customer segmentation, target prospects, business development  opportunities, and an overarching marketing   strategy.

  • Overseeing delivery process of the company’s core business of valuation
  • Managing other strategic projects as identified and prioritized by the President
  • Flexible to perform varying duties depending on the shifting needs of the company and its staff  members
  • Acts as a representative of President when asked.
  • Overseeing planning and directing administrative, operational and financial aspects of the firm on  behalf the President.
  • Providing strategic advice and thought partnership to President to improve the daily management of    the company

 

Skills & Experience

  • Depending on the type of previous experience, all applicants should have 5-7 years of work experience and with at least two years of managing staff.
  • The candidate should be a renowned performer, manager and have solid leadership skills
  • The candidate must have exceptional communication skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize across multiple projects.
  • This person must be results driven and able to motivate those around them
  • Must be focused on quality including delivering excellent services to the company and customers and delivering high quality of work to the President.
  • Must have strong planning and analytical skills, be able to see patterns, be a fast thinker and a good decision maker
  • Relevant experience along any of the relevant dimensions is a huge plus including experience in software product management/development, venture capital/private equity, valuation, stock/equity administration or marketing.

About the Role

 As Product Manager you will need to:

 

  • Understand the domain and our customers: Master the intricacies of private equity./VC finance.  Utilize competitive research, market analysis, user research and other methodologies to understand user and market needs. Be a focused, analytical and data-driven voice stakeholder in our strategic development and business decision processes.

 

  • Build the product roadmap: Identify, document, and prioritize the product and feature roadmap. Manage trade-offs between operational load, team capacity, and time-to-market needs.

 

  • Specify solutions and manage execution: Transform the roadmap into executable, well-conceived and narrowly scoped projects. Collaborate with the product development team and financial staff to make it real. Attention to detail is essential.

 

  • Measure and iterate: Assess the success of features and incorporate lessons into future iterations.

 

  • Communicate and articulate: You will be representing Oxford with our clients in the Venture Capital and Tech Startup domains and leading a distributed development team, so excellent written and verbal communications skills are a must. You’ll be conferring with people who are highly technical as well as people who are highly non-technical, so comfort in both of these sphere is essential as well.

 

  • Everything else: As the Product Manager, you are ultimately responsible to making the product a success and rolling it out to our clients. You will probably need to write help content, work with our partners, set up tools and processes for the team, and do whatever else needs to get done.

Job Description

 

Oxford Valuation Partners is seeking a part-time junior UI designer with 2+ years demonstrable experience designing for consumer product and/or enterprise sites. Candidate should have a solid grasp of UX best practices, and excel at translating business goals into efficient and comprehensible user interfaces for multiple screens.
 You will be working on elements ranging from wireframes to production graphics. Experience building web apps is a major plus.

 

 The team is distributed, so strong communication skills and openness to collaboration are important as well.
