Client Services Concierge – Fintech, Software

Austin, TX

We have recently launched an exciting new software platform in the equity management space that changes the game in our industry. It’s a fully managed service model where clients are assigned a dedicated concierge to liaise directly with clients and manage their onboarding and continual issuances and data needs.

 

We are looking for candidates to join our Austin based concierge team. This position can be part-time or full-time subject to negotiation.

 

Job Description

 

The Concierge will be a key part of our client delivery function for the software platform. The Candidate will handle data verification and data entry for our client’s equity and debt structure, perform actions through the platform like issuing stock and options, and will be a general point of contact for clients to deal with questions (both domain and platform) and issues that arise. The client will interface with both the business and software teams on a regular basis to improve customer experience and provide valuable input to the software development process.

 

You will gain tremendous knowledge and learn about venture capital, startups and the financial structures that underpin emerging growth companies in North America, Europe, and Asia. You will also gain valuable insight into the software development process. You will be working closely with our core team as well as the CEOs and CFOs of an exciting portfolio of fast-growing companies that form our client base.

 

The Candidate should be agile in their posture, a quick learner, with great client communications skills as well as confident, friendly, well-reasoned, and internally motivated.

 

Job Qualifications

 

  • Undergraduate degree; slight preference will be given to Business, Economics or Computer Science/Engineers backgrounds, but we welcome all applicants with business acumen/ aptitude and a thirst for learning
  • Self-motivated, task-oriented with getting things done attitude
  • Technologically versatile and independent with good internet research and computer skills; must have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel – will be expected to learn and use additional software tools (e.g. Dropbox, Asana)

  • The candidate must be available to answer calls and work during standard business hours (9 a.m to 5 pm) and is expected to be responsive during these hours
  • The candidate needs to have their own computer, recent versions of MS Office software and Internet access. Staff must maintain their own IT and ensure all equipment is stable and reliable
  • We expect, at the outset, the role will be 30-40 hours per week; this can be a PT or FT role depending on the candidate

 

Virtual Assistant (Sales & Operations support)

The role is a key part of our business. The Candidate will be coming in to replace an existing role in the company that was held for the past 3 years, in which an initial set of key processes and protocols were developed.  The Candidate will be liaising daily with the company President on sales and operations matters related to clients and service delivery, ensuring seamless and meticulous execution of sales processes.

Key responsibilities include providing sales support with account contracts and client management; maintaining and updating sales CRM and providing operational support for service delivery.

The candidate will be in contact with clients daily around sales, project delivery, and other matters. You have great client hands with exceptional written and oral communications skills. Keeping clients happy and informed, managing conflict and boundaries, and serving as a key liaison with the service delivery team and the company President are all key qualities for the role.

Chief of Staff & Product Lead (New York City)

Reporting to:  President

Oxford Valuation Partners Chief of Staff will execute on key strategic priorities identified by the President.  This person will have overarching corporate responsibilities for planning and administration in the company, overseeing the delivery aspect of the core business and evaluating & executing a new business opportunity in the software space.  The Chief of Staff will serve as the Product Lead during the launch of the first release of this new software product, which has been in R&D and beta phase for the past 18 months and is targeting Q1 2017 release.  In this role, s/he will be responsible for final feature design, overseeing final development of the first release, building a go-to-market strategy, and customer engagement.

 

Responsibilities

  • First strategic project will be overseeing the strategic evaluation, development and launch of a new business opportunity in the software space, including:
    • Taking over management of beta release process and existing beta client relationships
    • Identifying product development priorities and final release product for market launch to paying clients
    • Overall project management and oversight of engineering staff and efforts
    • Defining the service model and recruiting and managing staff required for development and delivery of the product’s service element.
    • Leading the development of a financial strategy including business model, pricing and profitability
    • Building go-to-market plans to include customer segmentation, target prospects, business development opportunities, and an overarching marketing strategy.
  • Overseeing delivery process of the company’s core business of valuation
  • Managing other strategic projects as identified and prioritized by the President
  • Flexible to perform varying duties depending on the shifting needs of the company and its staff  members
  • Acts as a representative of President when asked.
  • Overseeing planning and directing administrative, operational and financial aspects of the firm on behalf the President
  • Providing strategic advice and thought partnership to President to improve the daily management of the company

 

Skills & Experience

  • Depending on the type of previous experience, all applicants should have 5-7 years of work experience and with at least two years of managing staff.
  • The candidate should be a renowned performer, manager and have solid leadership skills
  • The candidate must have exceptional communication skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize across multiple projects.
  • This person must be results driven and able to motivate those around them
  • Must be focused on quality including delivering excellent services to the company and customers and delivering high quality of work to the President.
  • Must have strong planning and analytical skills, be able to see patterns, be a fast thinker and a good decision maker
  • Relevant experience along any of the relevant dimensions is a huge plus including experience in software product management/development, venture capital/private equity, valuation, stock/equity administration or marketing.
